I was hired by creative production house Kinsmen to collaborate with the incredible talents of Studio Mackie and Vena Collective on a series of short animations for clean energy investment company E15. Among the deliverables were an overview explainer video, 4 'Theme' animations covering the different facets of the company, and animated GIFs to sit within the 'Impact Calculator' featured in their app. These GIFs would show the impact a users investment would have on the environment, i.e. fewer emissions, reduced plastic pollution etc. Alongside a low frame rate and hand-drawn elements, we settled on a huge library of natural textures to give the animations a very 'green' feel.
